Trying to capture the spirit of the months of the year and illustrate that musically. Since I live in Sweden the spirit is probably coloured by that fact.
You can of course listen to the tracks independently, but I believe the experience will be greater if you listen to the whole album from start to end while you imagine yourself living through the year...

About the tracks:

January is normally the coldest month in Sweden. So I wanted to capture the cold, icy and stiff spirit of this month.

In February we can have some days when the snow is starting to melt from the roof and we hear the nice sound of water drops falling to the ground. But the cold winter wind is also frequent and we still have crystal cold spikes now and then.

In March we definitely can see spring coming and we feel everything starting to be more alive again. A time of hope, joy and expectations.

You can never trust the weather in April. You never know what's coming. Expect the unexpected.

Finally life is back in nature. Birds are singing. A nice time to spend outside listening, watching.

End of semester! Midsummer! Not even nights are dark! Great time for parties and dancing!

Vacation. So many plans. So much to be done and fixed. So short time. Maybe after a while you can find time to relax.

Finally the summer warmth has made you more relaxed and balanced, and you can enjoy just beeing. Maybe you can even hear the ocean waves and feel the summer breeze.

With renewed energy we can come back to work and be productive again, for a while...

... until the autumn melancholy strikes back again... better just to embrace it and enjoy the colour explosions. There is beauty to discover.

Now nature wants to rest and look inside and meditate about the future. We can do the same, or just try to stand this gray, dark, long wait for something new to happen.

And yes, there will be something to look forward to! The circle is complete, we have grown and learned and lived another year. What will come next?
